SUMMARY:C-PACE for Bankers: What is C-PACE and Why Would My Institution Consent?
DESCRIPTION:SEF and PEA have partnered to produce this educational event for commercial lender real estate team leads\, and senior credit officials. \nC-PACE is an alternative financing mechanism for property upgrades that improve energy efficiency\, utilize renewable energy\, and conserve water. C-PACE makes it possible for owners and developers of commercial\, industrial\, agricultural\, and nonprofit properties to obtain low-cost\, long-term\, fixed-rate financing funded by private capital providers. C-PACE is relatively new in PA\, though it has been around for more than ten years in other states. Approximately 32 states have enacted C-PACE legislation\, enabling more than $1 billion in private financing of 2\,000+ projects. \nMortgage lenders are an integral part of C-PACE as all C-PACE financings must have lender consent. Furthermore\, C-PACE projects generally increase properties’ collateral value and reduce building operating costs. This presentation will further define C-PACE and mortgage lenders’ role in getting a project financed. \nThis presentation is free for all attendees. \nSpeakers \n\nJeanne Fields – Fulton Bank\, VP Commercial Community Development Lending\nDoug Hoffman – Keystone Property Group\, Chief Financial Officer\nCliff Kellogg – C-PACE Alliance\, Executive Director\n\nClick here to register
